The Office of the Dean, RDC administers support to faculty and researchers to pursue world-class research by connecting people and resources, both external and internal, to create, share and commercialize knowledge that has the potential to address current and evolving scientific and technological challenges.

This office manages about 150 research projects and funding to the tune of ~ 15 crores annually. The primary source of funding support is the Ministry of Education, Government of India. A significant proportion of funds available to researchers of the Institute also come from extramural funding. The RDC Office leverages necessary resources that allows IISER TVM to build on its research competitiveness and engage with multidisciplinary teams to explore novel concepts and ideas, and develop technologies/products/processes for societal well-being.
